The Ford DC3Z-6A785-C Closed Crankcase Ventilation Oil Separator is a direct replacement CCV assembly for the 6.7L Powerstroke. The CCV system helps separate oil vapor from crankcase gases before they are routed back through the intake system.
We recommend replacing the CCV oil separator during major engine service or upper oil pan reseal jobs because it is easy to access while other parts are already removed. A worn or restricted CCV can contribute to oil residue, crankcase pressure issues, intake contamination, and messy engine bay buildup.
