The Dorman 625-504 Engine Oil Cooler Line is a direct replacement inlet line for the Ford 6.7L Powerstroke oil cooler system. This line helps move coolant between the engine and oil cooler, keeping the oil cooling system working properly.
We usually recommend replacing this line during an upper oil pan reseal because the factory hose is often covered in dirt, oil, and grime. Over time, the rubber can get soft, swollen, or brittle from heat and oil exposure. Since this line is inexpensive compared to the labor involved, it makes more sense to replace it while everything is apart instead of wasting time cleaning an old hose that may leak later.
