The flex plate is the connection point between the crankshaft and torque converter, making it a critical part of the drivetrain. Factory stamped flex plates can fatigue, crack, or fail under heavy towing, performance tuning, larger tires, and high-load use. This billet flex plate is built from stronger material to handle more abuse than the factory stamped design.

This is a great upgrade when the transmission is already out, when installing a built transmission, replacing a torque converter, or building a truck for towing and performance.
